Brightgrid Homes ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described below. We are BRIGHTGRIDHOMES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17459756), registered office 76 Scott Road, Grays, England, RM16 4EJ.

What we collect

Name, email, phone number and message content when you use our website contact form or the instant-estimate quote tool; site address and access details, and job-related information (e.g. meter details, roof/loft photos) once you become a customer.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, deliver and invoice installation work, and meet our legal/compliance obligations (e.g. tax records, and MCS/Part P notifications where a job requires them from a subcontracted electrician).

Legal basis

Performance of a contract (or steps towards one) for customer/job data; legitimate interest for responding to general enquiries; legal obligation for compliance and tax records.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data that doesn't become a job: 12 months. Customer and installation records: 6 years (standard UK record-keeping and warranty period).

Who we share it with

Installation subcontractors and suppliers where needed to deliver your job; MCS/DNO/Building Control where notification is legally required for work outside our own scope. We do not sell your data. Our website contact and quote forms are processed by Resend (transactional email delivery) — see Resend's privacy policy.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, and objection under UK GDPR — contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
